Is there a minimum stay?
We have a two night minimum stay. Just enough time to relax before you head back to the real world.

Do you welcome children?
We're sorry but no. We've set the cottage up as an adults-only escape from it all.

What We Offer....
A break away from it all should be a deliciously luxurious experience. Part of that means having the feeling it’s just you and the countryside.The cottage is next to our house but has it's own private entrance and parking so you can snuggle away undisturbed.

What do we need to bring?
The cottage is set up with bed linens and cosy feather duvets, towels, glasses, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. There is also coffee & tea, washing-up liquid, a selection of condiments, tea towels, tin foil, shower gel, shampoo.......etc and so on!  All you really need to bring are your toothbrush and a bottle of wine!

Archers Cottage is fully centrally heated with a well equipped kitchen and shower room. There is also WiFi, Netflix and a coffee machine. There is also a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer.

Can we bring our dog?
We’re sorry, but we don’t allow dogs..... Well, to be more precise, our cats – Holmes & Chamberlain– don’t allow dogs. We’ve put the “no dogs” rule in place to ensure our cats keep speaking to us.

Cancellations/changes
We ask for 14 days clear notice to cancel or amend your booking. We understand that life can sometimes throw up a surprise & we try to be understanding but we are a small business so we can't offer a refund for a late cancellation.

What times do we check in and check out?
You can check in any time after 3pm. We ask you to 'checkout' before 10.30am and we hope you’ll leave feeling rested and relaxed and already planning your next stay with us.

Longer Stays
If you are between homes or in the area for work and need something for slightly longer then please get in touch. We can accommodate stays from between 2 and 28 days.
